United progressed into the Last 16 of the Europa League despite losing to Ajax at Old Trafford. Several key first team players were rested for the weekend and a lack of match sharpness showed on a few selected.
Despite the loss, United played some good stuff in an entertaining game. Here are some of the more beautiful moments
1. Berbatov/Nani interplay, Nani pass

Starts with a nice little 1 -2 between Nani and Berbatov which leads to a beautiful pass back for the run of Berbatov who couldnt quite pick out Hernandez in the middle.
2. David De Gea pass

The keeper was quick off his line to sweep up an Ajax through ball and turn it straight into a possible counter attack with a sweet first time pass through for Ashley Young to chase. Just a little too much on it allowed the Ajax to deal with it.
3. Dave Saves, again

De Gea continues his dominance of this blog with another top class reaction save to keep the scores level. The replays shows how good this save was, especially how he managed to turn it so far over the bar!
4. Paul Scholes being Paul Scholes

Whats beautiful is how easy he makes it look. Little drop of the shoulder to get away from the attacker and find space and then a pin point ball knocked out wide. Attack started.
5. Park touch and skill

Despite not having the best of games, it was important for him to get some minutes last night and he still managed to produce a moment of class (as well as start the move for our goal). Great touch control and then a cheeky backheel to Hernandez.

Quality. Love Fabio’s head control – sick. De Gea impressive again
DDG has been great last few weeks. Made some proper good saves!
This site is sick!! Never would have found it if it wasn’t for The United Rantcast
On Twitter or on the podcast?
Glad you found and liked!
Podcast. Rantcast & The Manchester United Redcast are both awesome, the second a bit more funny, includes explicit language etc., I suggest it to any Reds.
Without spoilers to any who haven’t seen yet I can’t wait for you to do Nor. v United, De Gea has been SOLID!
