United continued their pre season with their final game in South Africa versus Ajax Cape Town. The game finished 1-1 thanks to an injury time goal by Bebe.
United gave debuts to both Shinji Kagawa and Nick Powell who both impressed.

1. Wootton attacks, Hernandez chance
Like we have seen with Jonny Evans, a centre back who can move forward and join the attack can be very effective. Here Wootton moves forward before getting on the end of a lovely pass by Marnick Vermijl and crossing for Javier Hernandez to force a great save from the keeper.
2. Great United play involving Kagawa
Nice flick around the corner by Kagawa, sees Hernandez and Carrick swap passes before Kagawa plays in Hernandez with a lovely first time pass.
3. Kagawa Pass
Shinji Kagawa made a strong first impression in a United shirt displaying some beautiful touches, movement and passes. Here he shows his final ball with a perfectly weighted pass into Javier Hernandez, who slips as he is about to shoot.
4. Pacey right side attack
United produce a pacey attack down the right that starts with a quick throw from Ben Amos to Valencia who shows great feet to set away Marnick Vermijl. He plays in Valencia who whips in a dangerous ball towards Hernandez.
5. Paul Scholes chest past
A beautiful cheeky chest pass from Scholes who jumps to meet a dropping ball before calmly chesting it to Kagawa
