Crystal Palace entertained fellow promotion challengers Middlesborough on Saturday afternoon giving us another chance to watch 90 minutes of new signing Wilfried Zaha in action.
Zaha was also watched by England manager Roy Hodgson in the stands and impressed, setting up 2 goals, involved all game and named Man of the Match.
Crystal Palace were the better team all game and could have won by a bigger margin than the 4-1 scoreline.

His first assist came from brilliant wing play, using his quick feet and acceleration to work space to find the cross which top scorer Glen Murray couldn’t miss
His 2nd assist of the game was for the final Palace goal. Picking up the ball just inside the Boro half, Zaha plays a nice through ball for Kevin Phillips who finishes.

Zaha goes past the defender like he wasn’t there and then crosses for what should have been another Murray goal
Skill, strength and desire sees him get past several defenders and win a corner with a blocked cross
Waits for the defender to commit and then knocks the ball past him. Classic wing play that comes from his ability to make defenders guess as to what he will do next
Wonderful skill by Zaha as he knocks the ball over the defender and gets to the byline winning a corner as they block his cross
3. 3 Great Passes

Brilliant play to get Williams to the byline as Zaha plays a 1 touch pass at the right time with the right weight
Beautiful outside of the boot pass after a stepover.
Nice play he holds the ball up to allow the full back to overlap and then plays a perfectly weighted pass
